Melsa earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the prestigious AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Melsa is nationally board certified, Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. She was fortunate enough to study in the birthplace of Chinese Medicine at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a world renowned TCM hospital in China.

Melsa has specialized in fertility acupuncture for over 6 years, practicing at RMA of Texas/Aspire Fertility as the acupuncturist, working with couples going through fertility treatments. Now in private practice, she works with IVF patients from clinics all across the country. She sees fertility patients at all stages of conception – from trying to conceive naturally, to IUI/IVF, and has treated hundreds of women throughout all the 40 weeks of pregnancy.

In 2014, Melsa also started the corporate acupuncture program at Rackspace, one of the largest employers in San Antonio and top Cloud Hosting companies in the country, treating Rackspace employees in their journey to better health.

Though she can treat a wide variety of conditions and health concerns, Melsa loves treating fertility patients and those couples going through IVF,  allergies, and stress/anxiety.  She loves the gentle yet effective way that acupuncture works on the body, naturally attaining harmony its systems. She also loves the mind body connection that comes from practicing yoga, taiji, and meditation.
